Teeth Whitening
Explore professional whitening with a plan tailored to your teeth, sensitivity, and goals.

Professional teeth whitening combines bleaching products with a dental assessment and guidance. The change in shade depends on your teeth and the cause of discoloration.
Coffee, tea, red wine, and aging can affect tooth color. Whitening strips can also bleach natural teeth, while whitening toothpastes primarily address surface stains. A dental evaluation helps you compare options and understand their limits.
At Village Dental, whitening is available at all four offices, and we'll first make sure your teeth and gums are healthy so your brighter smile starts on a solid foundation.
Your options
A professional-strength treatment for a noticeable difference in a single visit — ideal when you have an event coming up.
Trays molded to your teeth plus dentist-grade gel, so you can whiten gradually and comfortably at home.
Either way, your dentist tailors the strength and timing to your teeth — protecting your gums and reducing sensitivity.
What to expect
We confirm your teeth and gums are healthy and that whitening is the right choice for the results you want.
Brighten in-office in about an hour, or take home custom trays to use on your own schedule.
We share simple tips — and touch-up options — to help your results last as long as possible.
Note: whitening works on natural tooth enamel, not on crowns, veneers, or fillings. If you have restorations in your smile line, we'll help you plan for an even result.

Every Village Dental office offers professional whitening — book at whichever is closest to home.
Choosing your approach
In-office whitening offers treatment supervised during your appointment. Custom trays let you follow a dentist-provided schedule at home. Ask how many sessions are expected and what happens if sensitivity interrupts your plan; an upcoming event does not guarantee a particular shade by that date.
Tell us about sensitive teeth and visible crowns, fillings, or veneers. If those restorations no longer match after whitening, discuss your options before committing to treatment. Whitening does not change their color.
Ask whether your estimate includes trays, gel, follow-up, and future touch-ups. Compare the complete plan rather than only the first appointment. Our professional whitening versus strips guide explores the decision in more detail.
Continue daily home care and routine dental visits after whitening, and check with your dentist before repeating treatment or combining products. Read the ADA’s whitening overview for general information.
