When a tooth is cracked, worn down, deeply decayed, or left fragile after a large filling or root canal, a filling alone often isn't enough to protect it. A crown wraps the whole visible tooth, holding it together and letting you bite and chew with confidence again.

We assess the tooth, talk through your options, and confirm a crown is the right fit.
The tooth is gently shaped and we capture a precise impression or digital scan to guide the fit of your crown.
You leave comfortable while your custom crown is made — with a temporary in place if needed.
Your final crown is fitted, adjusted for a natural bite, and polished to match your smile.
Our crowns are backed by a 5-year limited warranty — ask for the written terms, eligibility requirements and exclusions before treatment.
Ask your dentist why a crown is recommended and whether a filling, inlay or onlay could meet your needs. The amount of healthy tooth remaining, your bite and the location of the damage help shape that discussion.
For a visible tooth, discuss shade and appearance. For a back tooth, ask about the material recommended for your chewing needs. Tell the team if you grind your teeth or have had problems with a previous crown.
Confirm the schedule for preparation and final placement, whether you will wear a temporary crown and what to do if it comes loose. Ask whether any other treatment, such as a root canal, is needed first.
Follow the instructions provided for eating and cleaning around your crown. Avoid hard or sticky foods that could damage or dislodge it, especially while wearing a temporary. Keep the appointment for your final crown.
Continue brushing, cleaning between your teeth and attending regular checkups. A crown does not make the underlying tooth immune to decay. Contact the office if your crown loosens, breaks, or your bite feels wrong, or if pain persists.
