Dr. Chris Martin
I am a native of Hays, NC. A small rural community in the beautiful North Carolina foothills.
I attended the University of North Carolina for both Dental School (DDS 1996), and undergrad (BS Dentistry 1993).
I have been in practice in our current location in Olde Raleigh Village since 1998. It has been a wonderful practice home.
I enjoy the practice of dentistry immensely. Dentistry is challenging at times, but provides a true sense of accomplishment. I have always enjoyed ‘working with my hands’ and ‘working with people’. Dentistry allows me to do both of these daily. I feel lucky to have chosen this life path.
I am happily married to Maja Vukojicic Martin (since 1999). We have three beautiful children, Ava Marie (born September 2006), Ella Rae (born October 2008), and Noah Christopher, (born December 18, 2009).
I also truly enjoy learning from others, being with my family, music, fitness and vintage volkswagens.
Thanks for your interest in our practice. I look forward to meeting you.
Dr. Sree Nadella
I was born in Virginia and grew up in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Even after leaving there 20 years ago, I still consider it home. I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry (DDS 2004) and with honors from the undergraduate program in Public Health-Health Policy and Administration (BSPH 1999). My best friend and husband, Praveen, is a Georgia native and we have been married since 2004. Our two amazing daughters: Jaya (born 2006) and Sona (born 2008) keep us busy and smiling! We enjoy family game night, cooking, and dancing together!
My practice experience over the past 15 years has been in Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, and then back to North Carolina. We are thrilled to be back home permanently. I feel blessed to be able to use my education and skills to serve and improve the dental health of others. Dentistry is my calling in life. I take pride in being able to treat my patients gently, respectfully, and carefully for a pleasant dental experience.
It is an honor to be an Associate Dentist at Village Dental. I look forward to serving your dental needs. I am here for you!
Dr. Jacob Hyer
I am originally from California, and dentistry is actually a part of my heritage! Both my father and grandfather were dentists. After working at their legacy office, I can see the tremendous benefit that honest, high-quality dentistry can have on generations of people.
Helping people get and stay out of pain, improve their smiles, and practice good oral hygiene so they may enjoy their life and enjoy delicious food are some of the reasons why I love being a dentist!
I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the UCLA School of Dentistry and did my General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Northern California Healthcare System. I also received a BS in Physiology and Developmental Biology from Brigham Young University. I spent several years practicing in California prior to joining the team here in Raleigh.
In my time off, if I’m not devouring dental literature, most of it is spent with my wife and four kids. We love doing day trips, eating good food, participating in church service, and doing generally family-friendly activities. I love to surf, ski and go to the gym if there is any spare time left over. Super pumped to meet you at the Village!
Thank you for visiting our site and taking the time to read our bio’s! I have been very fortunate to devote years of my life as a people-leader and I look forward to many more years to come here at Village Dental. I have worked in the retail pharmacy industry for 18 years and I was very fortunate to be highly utilized in many different advanced roles managing in upwards of 1,400 team members. There is no greater honor than serving and leading people. Nothing excites me more than inspiring exceptional everyday people to deliver extraordinary results that make a difference. I joined Village Dental because of the difference they make in peoples’ lives and their mission-focused purpose. I’m so excited to be here and am excited to work with an extremely talented group of people. I hope to help our leaders impact our patient’s smiles and lives in so many wonderful ways.
I was blessed to attend Syracuse University where I obtained the first of many college degrees. I earned my MBA with a concentration in Executive Leadership and Healthcare Administration from Liberty University, which I absolutely love. In fact, I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate of Business Administration online and hope to have my DBA by 2023. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful and talented wife Annya, who is also an Operations Manager and passionate about everything she does! We have two wonderful and awesome children, Hannah (16) and Eli (11). I love meeting new people, building relationships, and I hope to meet and serve you and your family here at Village Dental.

In 2008 I attended NCDENTALU and received my Dental Assistant I certificate. After, I received my DAI training I moved to Germany for 3 ½ years. In August of 2011, I graduated from University of Maryland University College with my A.A. degree. The following year I moved back to North Carolina and began working as a treatment coordinator. In the dental field I have worked as a dental assistant, front desk administrator, office manager, financial coordinator, and treatment coordinator.
