Across Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle, there are people quietly carrying around dental pain, embarrassment, or worry — often because the cost of a single visit feels out of reach. Smiles From the Heart exists for them. On the morning of Saturday, May 2, the clinical team at Village Dental Olde Raleigh will volunteer their time and expertise to help neighbors in need get out of pain, get their teeth cleaned, and leave with a clearer plan for their oral health.

The event runs from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early. Services are provided at no cost, regardless of insurance status. There are no income forms to fill out and no eligibility checks at the door.

What's available that morning

Village Dental's clinical team will be on hand to provide a focused set of services aimed at relieving pain and addressing urgent needs. Treatment depends on each guest's situation and what's possible during the visit, but the team is prepared to offer:

• Basic dental cleanings (prophylaxis to remove plaque and tartar)
• Simple tooth extractions for teeth causing pain or infection
